As a guy, the thought of having a urinal in your home bathroom is a dream come true. The ladies wouldn't mind it either I'm sure. The brand new Falcon F-9000SS waterfree urinal is constructed of 304 grade,
16-guage stainless steel and is a wall hung, wall outlet unit. The
contemporary style bowl has a matte finish to provide the ultimate level
of durability (high polish finish option available as special order). The F-9000SS urinal includes a patented cartridge
with biodegradable sealant, which acts as a barrier to provide
odor-free operation. They cost around $600 and can be special ordered through your local Falcon dealer (Waxie in UT). If you cant afford the prison style bling, non-stainless options like the 4000 and 5000 models go for as low as $200.

Parametre is an innovative 3D textile system by 3form, a Salt Lake based manufacturer of award-winning, eco-friendly materials for the Architecture + Design industry. They have another super neat product called Varia which is translucent ecoresin panels that can be transformed into walls, dividers, doors, counter tops and more.
Another bomb video by So Me, the designer behind Justice and Ed Banger records.
Michal Levy is one to watch. See the animated short film (2:15 minutes) he created to accompany John Coltrane's "Giant Steps". His other design and artwork is great too... very NewCityMovement don't you think?
Friends With You created a new line of toys called Wish Come True. Available now but already sold out. More at FWY, Fickr, StrangeCo.
I love the look of the new Xmission homepage.
When I was in San Francisco this past year, I saw a clothing boutique that had an entire wall of disco mirror tile. The owner told me she got it from a place in LA called Kit Kraft and now I'm passing that information on to anyone who might want something precious of their own covered in fabulous disco mirror. Visit KitKraft.biz.
From our Germany desk comes a link to the beautiful glass works of Anna Torfs.
As if a Walmart weren't enough to make your trip down 300 West a distressing one, this lovely IKEA colored protrusion by (G)ashley Furniture has recently invited itself to the throw-up party. The historic warehouse they built this eye sore on was interesting enough on it's own, but they had to go and fug it up anyways. Pee-uke!
There have been quite a few visits to my post a while back regarding Salt Lake's semi-secret underground tunnels and folklore. This weekend local photographer Matt Larsen contributed more insights on the subject including a link to his gallery of photos from some of the crumbling lairs. Click on each photo for more comments on the locations and more. [Thanks MattLarsen.com]
